Sexual abuse is when someone does something that doesn't feel okay or isn't wanted

  • sometimes the abused person feels like what's happened is their fault
  • sexual abuse is never the abused person's fault and it is never acceptable
  • young people who experience abuse need to know that they can talk to and trust their parents

What to do if sexual assault occurs

  • get help from someone you trust as soon as possible, for your safety
  • do not shower
  • remember that the assault was not your fault
