Taupo Youth Council

The Taupo Youth council is a group of 22, 12-18 year olds, established in 2007 by The Taupo District Council to represent young peoples views in the community. The aim of the youth council is to encourage youth participation in civic affairs and provide a voice and direction on youth issues. Already this year they have organised a free concert held in Youth Week called "Do it 2 it"! Which featured SPACIFIX along with other local bands. To find out more email: youthcouncil@taupo.govt.nz
